DnN St. Petersburg Fashion Week. Day I.

After September full of fashion events in Paris, Milan, London and New York, finally it's turn to open the fashion season in Russia. The first one is DnN Fashion Week, one of the main seasonal fashion events of North Capital (that's how we call St. Petersburg here).

I was invited there as a photographer for the magazine I work with. And I can totally call it "a trip for business and pleasure"! I really enjoyed all of the shows, it's always interesting to see the runway and all of the small details you've probably couldn't have noticed on TV.

My article and the main photos (they are the best ones and totally worth seeing) will be published in the magazine next month, but for now I'm going to show you some sneak peaks form my first day on DnN St. Petersburg Fashion Week. Hope you'll enjoy it friends!

The day has started with the press conference in a beautiful place with inspiring interior and architectural forms around me. I love the furniture and paintings of the room we used to work. After official part of the conference we were invited to continue our discussion at drink bar in informal and more relaxed atmosphere.

The first show we saw was a part of SS 2014 capsule collection of Polina Raudson called "F 63.9" . Five beautiful elegant dresses of neutral colors and gorgeous textile. The models' eyes were closed, which was really intriguing and mysterious...

Vladislav Aksenov, famous fashion designer from St Petersburg, has showed a very interesting Avant Garde collection "Everyone Dismissed!". He portraits the look of modern, cool and fearless bride, who'd rather prefer wearing a "quite trashy" extraordinary wedding dress than the traditional white one. The girls look bright and fun, enjoying the show as much as the viewers.

Natalia Soldatova 's collection is very feminine and calm. Maxi dresses and skirts are the main part of it.ъ

And here are few photos from the Gallery of High Fashion show. It's one of the most famous boutiques in the city.
