Aurora Fashion Week. Day III: Olia Marcovich

Presentation of Olia Marcovich fashion collection. Olia Marcovich is a fashion designer from St Petersburg, winner of many contests,graduated University in St Petersburg and had an internship in Milan, Italy. Geometric ornaments, floral prints and mix of textures look so good together in Olia Marcovich collection.

Aurora Fashion Week. Day III: ZA-ZA, Artkvadrat

Brand Za-Za was founded by fashion designer Alexandra Koryakina in 2011. Za-Za's presentation was one of the most intriguing and interesting from third day of Aurora Fashion Week. The colors are quite soft, but the structure of the clothes is really strong and angular. I love the bold elements of Za-Za designs and I definitely would like to see more of its works in the future.

Aurora Fashion Week. Day III: LUBLU Kira Plastinina

Spring Summer 2014 collection by LUBLU Kira Plastinina was one of the most interesting shows of AFW. LUBLU, which means “I love” in Russian, has a fun and flirty, yet elegant and sophisticated vibe.The new collection mostly contains dresses made of soft textiles of light color palette, sometimes mixed with abstract prints and black color tints.

Aurora Fashion Week. Day II: Alexander Khrisanfov, Milla Berillo

The Alexander Khrisanfov's collection is gentle and soft. The neutral palette with some color accents make the elegant and sensual look. I love the hair accessories, they definitely made it work and created a special mood.

Aurora Fashion Week. Day II: Leonid Alexeev

Fashion show of Leonid Alexeev was one of the most amazing from the second day of Aurora Fashion Week. When the light turned off and five models came to the the runway in the silence, some of the audience were shocked: no music at all? But then we saw a beautiful piano and with its gentle notes the show has started.

Leonid Alexeev is one of the main designers in Russian menswear, but he's working at two lines of prêt-a-porter clothes (Leonid AlexeevHomme and Leonid Alexeev Femme) and on AFW we saw his beautiful collection for women.
In 2007 Leonid Alexeev received bachelor's degree in Fashion Design Menswear at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London, then returned to St Petersburg, Russia where he continues working at both his lines,operate with private and corporate orders, theaters, movies and stars of show business.

Aurora Fashion Week. Day II: Liza Odinokikh, Lidia Demidova, Artem Shumov.

Collection of Liza Odinokikh, where models were wearing masks, was one of the most intriguing and mysterious. The second day of AFW was really surprising and I found many pieces I'd love to wear.
Liza Odinokikh is fashion designer from St Petersburg, who has also studied at NABA, Italy. She designs for young and modern,independent women, who's not afraid of experiments. Liza Odinokikh loves minimalsm and often use leather in her collections. Brand shows us designs with soft lines,mix of textures and sensuality.

Aurora Fashion Week. Day I. Clarisse Hieraix

Yes, I've already wrote an article about Aurora Fashion Week. Day I , but I left a surprise for you. I didn't post photos of Clarisse Hieraix' s fashion collection. It was really amazing and inspiring show, so I've decided it deserves its own article and more photography to look at.

Clarisse Hieraix is a French designer from Guadeloupe. The smooth elegant lines of the garments from Clarisse Hieraix collection mixed with the angular graphic lines, creating an incredible structure of the garments."Between strenght and fragility, Clarisse Hieraix woman metamorphoses. As a tight wire, ready to break, she cautiously deserts her shell. The tulle tears apart, the stitch feverishly weaves, the raffia spreads as lichen on a trunk. Effects consuming clothes become memories of a bygone age.

Structured lines, faithful to the designer, let be invaded by those organic materials. The eye gets lost in the barks meanderings protecting the woman of a dream-like armour. Half-chrysalis, half-creature taking off, Clarisse Hieraix woman suggests us an enchanted vision of modernity."

Aurora Fashion Week. Day I.

Aurora Fashion Week is one of the main fashion events in St. Petersburg,Russia. Every season Russian and International designers are showing their collections and presentation to the guests of AFW. This time we were watching Spring Summer 2014 collections. Some of them were OK and some have just blew my mind. I fell in love with few new brands and definitely going to buy some new garments for my wardrobe soon.
