How to learn posing whether you're an aspiring young model or a person who' s interested in fashion? My tip : just need to listen to your body language, don't try to copy the exact poses that you see on the screen. Try moving a little bit and choose simple, relaxed and natural poses, follow your intuition. At first, try posing in front of the mirror, then when you'll feel more confident, just try posing in front of the friend, then ask someone to photograph you and see the result. Good luck!

Model interview. Veronika Nomura about modeling in Japan

Hello guys,

I've filmed this interview back in Tokyo last spring. Fashion model Veronika Nomura tells us how modeling industry in Japan works, how much money you can earn even if you're not tall, how to get into this business and etc. English subtitles are also available.

Veronika is mixed ( or as Japanese people say " hafu " ) who has been living in Japan for already 6 years.

Modeling Industry in China. Shi Jing video test

Few words about Chinese Fashion market and modeling industry in China, some advices for photographers and few words about my test shoot with Shi Jing in Shanghai, China 2016

Shi Jing is really wonderful. She doesn't have a lot of experience in modeling, but I think she has a good potential. Although Shi Jing doesn't speak English, we were able to understand each other, she tried her best and always paid attention when I was showing her how to pose.

Summer inspiration

After being silent for a long time, I want to share with you a splash of emotions and inspiration.

I'm really excited about upcoming summer and already feel the mood of happiness, refreshment and freedom.

Summer is a small new life: time for adventures and travel, experiments and fun. My perfect summer is minimalistic and simple, full of details, bright and cold at the same time. I like it to be unexpected and spontaneous, a little bit vintage. I fell in love with style of  80s and early 90s with its bold and sexy swimsuits and tanned  athletic models.

On the other side, my perfect summer girl is mysterious and cold, a lover of unisex style and monochromatic palette. The ideal landscape is foggy beach, and the summer breeze is the only accessory she needs.

My eternal summer is Gauguin's world: Tahiti, color

Movies to watch: The pool, The Chinese Botanist's Daughters, Eat Pray Love

Summer goals: being open minded, fearless and free. Create, think clear and enjoy every moment.

Luma Grothe. Model. Inspiration

Brazilian beauty Luma Grothe was born in Joinville. She was discovered after a friend convinced her to enter local model contest. She didn't win it, but soon moved to Sao Paolo and got signer with the agency.
Luma Grothe  has an incredible features, she can both look glamorous and childish with her light blue eyes, pale skin and sensual lips. I'm sure we will be seeing her very often both on runway and in magazines.

Mona Matsuoka is half Japanese, half American model from Japan. Signed with Bon Image Corp. Model Agency and being only 15 years old, Mona's already been on the covers of many magazines, has been chosen as model of the week on models.com. Mona Matsuoka also walked Prada Spring/Summer 2012 show in Japan,Fall 2012 collections of Hermès, ICB, and Nina Ricci in Japan and Anteprima S/S 2014 in Milan.
Mona's face is fresh, exotic and classic at the same time.

Jacob Scott. Model. New Face. Inspiration.

I instantly fell in love with this new face! A 18 years old Jacob Scott is native of Middlesbrough, England of German and Irish descent. He has recently dyed his hair to blond and looks so fresh and totally different from his look with the dark hair.

Jacob Scott was scouted in a mall in Houston, Texas and now he's signed with New York Model Management. With his incredible bone structure and freckles he already did a Calvin Klein exclusive in Milan and I'm sure he has a bright future in fashion industry.

Have been browsing some old photos of Bambi Northwood-Blyth and found this amazing shoot for Urban Outfitters Catalogue from 2012 year.

There's such a great summer mood in it, so magical and inspiring! Maybe these photos look so attractive for me, because I want to go to the sea so much! I dream about few days with a magical sea view... But unfortunately, I'm stuck in the city with my work and can't let myself have a vacation at the moment. I only hope that I'll have one really soon.

Bambi always look so amazing on the photos, I love her really natural look and relaxed style. Hope you will enjoy these photos.

There's a small bonus: you will also find some personal Bambi Northwood-Blyth photos, including some with her husband Dan Single, a founder of cult Australian brand Ksubi. I think they look great together!

Lucy P. is a new face of Boom Models Management. I've shot this quick test quite long time ago. It was really spontaneous, because I had a very busy schedule (like 3-4 shoots per day). But Lucy is absolutely gorgeous! So charming and beautiful. Working with her was a real pleasure.
