Nostalgic mood. The Diary

I've been in some kind of nostalgic mood recently. 

I miss that warm air, when it's so hot and sometimes it feels like you can't even breathe. Heavy rains, the spices and exotic fruits. I love Asia, I love its atmosphere, it's mood. Sometimes I hate it though... But it's a coming-going thing like everything else in our lives... I mostly hate it because I still feel an outsider when I'm there. And I will always be. 
But it's OK. I still can observe it and get inspired by it. I still can love it and appreciate it's beauty. Sometimes I feel like I was born in a wrong place. Everybody wants to live in Europe, but when I stay there for several months, I feel like a prisoner. I get bored of that calmness... I need to shake my mind and fill it with some Asian craziness...

Fall inspiration

Fall is the strangest time of the year: its calmness is captivating and frightening. 

Seductive and inspiring, it’s the time to enjoy the spicy tea, stay warm in your bed and hold the love ones… Enjoying the warmth of memories, feeling either deeply depressed or full of energy to pursue your dreams.

Fall is the perfect time to make a new step in your life, look at it from the different angle and write down your goals, have a diary full of secrets. It’s a new beginning.

My fall mood board consists of calmness of the breeze, quirky fire and the bold thoughts.

Stay gold and wild, enjoy the colors of the wind and big city lights.

Summer inspiration

After being silent for a long time, I want to share with you a splash of emotions and inspiration.

I'm really excited about upcoming summer and already feel the mood of happiness, refreshment and freedom.

Summer is a small new life: time for adventures and travel, experiments and fun. My perfect summer is minimalistic and simple, full of details, bright and cold at the same time. I like it to be unexpected and spontaneous, a little bit vintage. I fell in love with style of  80s and early 90s with its bold and sexy swimsuits and tanned  athletic models.

On the other side, my perfect summer girl is mysterious and cold, a lover of unisex style and monochromatic palette. The ideal landscape is foggy beach, and the summer breeze is the only accessory she needs.

My eternal summer is Gauguin's world: Tahiti, color

Movies to watch: The pool, The Chinese Botanist's Daughters, Eat Pray Love

Summer goals: being open minded, fearless and free. Create, think clear and enjoy every moment.

What is moodboard and how to create it

Moodboard or inspirational board is usually a combination of various elements, such as images, text, samples of objects that visualize the concept and idea of some project or personal interests.
It shows the style of the projects and helps creative people and their customers come to the common direction about the concept, style, main idea of their work and even its small details.
I often use moodboards to communicate with my clients when it comes to deciding the theme of the shoot /styling and etc.

Мудборд. Что это, как создать мудбод и эффективно применять его для реализации творческого проекта и вдохновения.

Итак, что же такое мудборд? Слово заимствовано из английского «moodboard» и дословно переводится как « доска настроения». Также очень часто употребляется словосочетание “inspirational board” – доска вдохновения.
Собственно, мудборд – это набор различных элементов, помогающих нам визуально передать какое-либо настроение, концепцию, идею и т.д.

Как правило, составление мудбордов помогает людям творческих профессий в общении с клиентами и креативной командой, в тех случаях, когда требуется наглядно объяснить какую-либо идею, вдохновить, передать настроение. Визуально это сделать гораздо легче, чем объяснять на словах, поэтому, в большинстве случаев, наличие мудборда значительно повышает эффективность работы.

So, it’s the last month of the summer already, but it seems like I haven’t got enough of it. So, I wanted to share with you guys a list of things you can try to do before it ends. It’s my personal “to do” list, which keeps me inspired and motivates me to create/work/do more.

1. Восприятие

Для начала, нужно поменять отношения к месту, где вам предстоит провести большую часть лета. Попробуйте найти в нем, как можно больше положительных моментов. Например, если это маленький город – близость к природе, возможность дышать свежим воздухом, родной город – общение с родственниками и встречи с близкими друзьями, мегаполис – возможность наслаждаться развитой инфраструктурой и всеми благами цивилизации и т.п.

1. Think positive

At first, you have to realize that the place you’re going to stay for the whole summer isn’t that bad. You can’t go on vacation to the islands, so what? You have to get the right feelings about it and think positive. For example, if you’re living in a small town, try to think about being close to the nature; if it’s your hometown, realize that you will be able to see your close friends and relatives and spend more time with them, isn’t it good? So, concentrate on positive things around you.

Inspiration Friday: summer by the sea

Unfortunately, I’m going to start this post with my apologies for not writing anything for a very long time. Again… I’m really sorry for that, I was in the middle of the work and other important things to do, so I had no time to write anything. But after opening my blog one day, I’ve realized how much I miss it and, at the same time, blog definitely needs some reconstruction.
I always wanted to share with you guys something personal: not only my thoughts, but inspiration, advices and my opinion about everything. But before this moment, I thought that mixing it all up isn’t really good idea. For example, if I’m a photographer, it would be best for me to have a photography blog only. But now I’m thinking, why not writing about everything I like? I already have my tumblr account, where you can see my photography, so why can’t create something special here, which hopefully will inspire you too?
I’m going to reorganize the blog by creating some sections for every theme I’d like to write about. So, it will be easier for you to read it by theme you’re interested in. I’ll do it soon and now I’d like to share with you some inspiring photos of the sea and relaxing summer mood. I can’t have a vacation right now, but these pictures give me some summer energy and positive emotions. Hope you’ll enjoy it!

К сожалению, мне снова придется начать пост с извинений за то, что пропала на долгое время. Работа и прочие дела совершенно вывели меня из колеи, и не было сил о чем-либо писать. Открыв свой блог, я поняла, как соскучилась по нему. И, в то же время, осознала, что он нуждается в реконструкции.
Мне очень часто хочется писать что-то более личное, делиться вдохновением, советами и накопленным опытом в тех или иных областях. До этого момента, я считала, что не стоит «смешивать» все воедино. То есть, если я занимаюсь фото, то и блог должен быть о фото и т.п. Но сейчас я уже думаю, а почему бы и нет? Я постараюсь реорганизовать блог таким образом, чтобы все его разделы было удобно читать, и вы легко смогли найти интересующую вас тему.
В ближайшие дни я займусь воплощением этой идеи, а пока, хочу поделиться с вами фото, которые дадут вам заряд летней энергии. Пока у меня нет возможности поехать в отпуск к морю или океану, именно они напоминают мне о лете.

Longing for summer

So,I actually won't start this post with apologies for being silent for so long. I just want to share with you some of inspiring photos I found recently and hope you'll enjoy it. I've been enjoying extremely warm weather and the mood of spring in February, hoping that the summer is closer than ever. And then,few weeks later, we have a tons of snow and the second round of winter. Here we go, at least my boyfriend is extremely happy, because he loves winter and freezing weather.

So, what about me? Along with working at some big projects, I've completely fell into daily routine and some unfinished business in my hometown. Between work days in big cities and a quite life of the town, sometimes it feels so boring, but most of the times I don't have a time to think about it. It's crazy rhyth here. But I like it, I need this speed to move forward.

Hope you're doing well and already have your summer! When mine will come, I'm sure it will be great!
